I like slashers and that i wanted to offer this the advantage of the doubt because i prefer the lead actress. Scout Taylor-Compton (Rob Zombie’s Halloween movies, Cynthia, Feral) stars as a highschool student and yes, she is extremely , very clearly too old for her part. But i used to be willing to let that slide because i prefer the actress and let’s face it, this is often a movie set at Crystal Lake High. you should not expect much, just a few dumb slasher fun. Unfortunately, it doesn’t even deliver thereon .

Unimaginative standard slasher fare made worse by choppy editing and piss poor acting. i used to be giving Straight Outta Compton for pulling off some decent add the previous couple of years, but she’s back to the low points that put me off of her here.
