“Sachin: A Billion Dreams” is an Indian biographical film based on the life of Indian cricket icon and living legend Sachin Tendulkar. A tale of a restless 10-year-old boy and his journey from watching India’s first World Cup winning skipper Kapil Dev lift the trophy, to the fulfillment of his dream of holding it in his hands for India. He is the most celebrated sportsperson in India, a virtuous hero who created an era, which Indians are proud of. The film captures Tendulkar’s dedication to cricket and his personal life in dramatic detail, as well as reveals aspects of his life which have never been heard or seen before.Sachin: A Billion Dreams is a 2017 Indian biographical film directed by James Erskine and produced by Ravi Bhagchandka and Carnival Motion Pictures under 200 NotOut Productions. The film is based on the life of Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar.[2][3][4] The film was released on 26 May 2017.[5][6] It captures Tendulkar’s cricket and personal life in substantial detail, as well as reveals few aspects of his life which have never been heard of or seen before.[7] The film is simultaneously shot in Hindi, Marathi and English.[8] Dubs of the film will be released in Tamil and Telugu.
